Hi Pioneer Families!
My name is Jon Christensen and I am excited to be starting my second year at Pioneer Elementary! This year I will be the Mild/Moderate Needs Learning Specialist for grades 3 and 5.
I moved from Indiana to Colorado in July of 2017 because I absolutely love anything that has to do with being in the mountains. I also am a huge soccer fan! Come on Chelsea!
My classroom motto for this year is “I can”. I believe every student CAN learn when given time and instruction that meets their individual needs and an attitude that believes “I am only going to get better if I challenge myself.” I think this applies not only for my students but for all of us as growth is a lifelong process!
