I am in my 19th year of teaching, but this will be my 15th year at Pioneer and as a part of the Douglas County School District. I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio, but have lived in Colorado for 26 years now. I graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa where I received my Bachelor’s Degree with an endorsement in Science. After beginning my teaching career, I completed my Master’s Degree in literacy from the University of Colorado at Denver.
I enjoy Colorado outdoors; hiking/walking, skiing, playing volleyball and going to sporting events. I also love spending time with family and friends.
