Pioneer Poultry Project

Having a school poultry program has had many positive rewards. Students learn valuable life lessons about the cycle of life, where food comes from, responsibility, how to take care of animals and how to work together as a team.

There may also be some therapeutic benefits for students. Students can “take a small break” and visit our chickens to refresh their learning.
